Last week was such a busy week. I kept thinking, I promised myself that I would no longer take weeks to post to Operation You, for me and for you. But, with school work staring at me everytime I walk by my book bag, my daughter's birthday party that required me to deep clean and cook and crowning two titles of mother and wife on the top of my head, I really was thankful that I learned to take deep breaths and let things be as they are.
If a thought came to me that made me question its nature, I immediately released the negative thought and the emotion went right along with it.
So, now I'm taking a toe-dip in this fresh water that covers this post and I am grateful for learning and knowing the truth, which is there is nothing wrong There is nothing bad. All is well. This is my power and yours.

Joy is always flowing...
I missed "Inspirational Monday." So, this will just be "Inspirational Today."
My daughter, two nieces and I were on our way home from the Olympic Centennial Park in Atlanta when we pulled into a Wendy's parking lot to take this photo of the sunset. The girls had on bathing suits and were really tired. We had driven about 45 minutes to Atlanta from the suburbs with no air conditioning in my car, but we were on our way to get it fixed. As a treat for dealing with the stifling heat in the car, they played in the park's water fountain to cool off. They had a blast!
On the ride home, everyone in the car was silent until I saw the sun. "Look everybody," I yelled. The inside of the car became lively. My daughter said, "Let's take a picture." So, we did.
For the next few minutes, we were lost in time and space. The sheer joy on all of our faces made me realize that recognizing the beauty is wonderful, but stopping to feel the beauty is a reward in itself. Gratitude and appreciation stayed with us long after the sun finally set. Joy is always flowing and is always available to us. We just have to remember to stand in it!
Peace and Blessings!

Because I AM...
I can think positive thoughts Because I AM positive
I can live in love Because I AM love
I can reach my dreams Because I AM created for them
I can feel healthy Because I AM born into perfection
I can see beauty Because I AM beautiful
I can feel peaceful Because I AM peace
I can feel joy Because I AM joyous
I can think goodness Because I AM good
I can enjoy you Because I AM enjoyable

Knowing the Truth has set me free
We know we are all of these wonderful things because we are Life.
We are real.
We are Truth.
We are powerful.
Negativity is an illusion that we think and perceive.
All of our spirits are connected and we are one with the GREAT Power and Love, God.
One Unity. One Love.

Secret Treasures
Thank you Se'Lah!
Have you ever looked at one of your old storage bends or one of your old trunks where you got an urge to go in it because you didn't know what treasures you would find? Have you been excited to see something that you've forgotten was in there? This something allowed you to travel in time within and made you smile? And other times you have also asked, "Why did I ever keep this?" It brought memories to the surface you wished you never had retained.
That's how our memories work; some call it our subconsciousness. It is a storage bend or trunk. Every experience and idea are stored in our subconsiousness including the ones we perceive not so pleasant. We have to remember that even when we think we have gotten over something or got rid of something that we don't want to experience again; often, we have held on to it.
We have to totally release anything from our memories that could hinder us from growing and reaching our purpose for being here on this beautiful planet we call Earth. We have to bring "it" forward from our subconsciousness to our consciousness, our present awareness and then we can release it. We immediately replace it with something beautiful like a song or favorite inspirational poem or simply an affirmation. My body trembled as tears rolled down my face as I brought forth some unpleasant memories within my soul. But oh my, once I completed this work, I felt like a feather.
We need to detox from all of those negative things that we forgot we stored. Anytime a feeling comes up that is not pleasant, evaulate the thought behind that feeling and then release it. Practice letting go and replacing it repeatedly with knowledge of the truth until the new thought is imprinted in your soul. A thought of truth is to know that everything around us in Mother Nature continues to operate harmoniously whether our perceived day is bad or good. Mother Nature knows of nothing wrong, of nothing missing or of nothing bad. If something interferes with its harmony, such as man, She adjusts and keep on being Mother Nature.
Our thoughts and the stored thoughts and memories are there to remind us of our experiences but we have the power to change our experience by understanding that we are the power. We are the GOOD. We are born with it and it has always been. There is no convincing of ourselves. We must know simply because we exist.
We are simply here to experience ALL goodness and the Grace that is upon us is simply a deep love and a deep givingness by our Creator. This is called Life. Life grants us the key to ultimate wellness, peace, happiness, joy, beauty, abundance and of course an everflowing power of love! That's what Life is. There is no other. You are the secret treasure. Look within.
This is your destiny and I appreciate you.

Field of Dreams

Remember the dreams you had when you were a kid? Remember how big, bold and colorful they were?
I would get lost in my dreams for what seemed like hours. I remember dreaming that I danced so long and so hard that my body would be drenched in sweat. This was one of my favorite dreams because I dreamed of dancing on stage in front of thousands of people. One night I would create a beautiful ballet ensemble and the next night, I would be one of Michael Jackson's background dancers to the song "Thriller." I soaked in the cheers of the crowd and the warm feeling of my contribution in making others smile. Incredible! When I left my dreams and returned to my bedroom window, I felt such a deep satisfaction and I felt full inside. I would then go outside to hang out with my friends with such hope and inspiration. Anything was possible!
Along the way some of us stopped dreaming as adults. Our possibilities became depended on what we perceived as "important" external and internal factors. Some excuses that I've heard my ego say, "I'll wait until I'm debt free. I'm waiting until the kids are out of school. I have to lose weight first. I need the perfect dress first. Wait until I finish school." Does this sound familiar to you?
Dreams are the true nature of who we really are and dreaming provide us with hope, inspiration and joy. So go ahead and tap into your field of dreams. Dream long, dream hard, dream big, dream, dream, dream! Before you know it, that dream becomes reality. We may not experience the dream in its entirety at first, but getting on that path really motivates us to keep dreaming and thus, keep experiencing the true essence of who we really are. We have a right to dream so take advantage of it. Lose yourself in your field of dreams. Feel yourself on "stage" in acceptance of your true self.
I have a secret for you. I'm currently living one of my dreams. It is sharing these types of motivational thoughts with you. I dream big!
Sending you lots of energy to tap into your dreams!

I say yes!
As the sound and the wind of the water brushed my ears at Niagara Falls in Buffalo, NY, the magfinicent power that came from the rush of the waters made me now realize that this flowing power of water is just another example of what can operate through me.Just as these waters flow without limit, so can the very gifts that all of us have within. The same energy that beautifully and confidently move these waters without any limitiations is the same energy that moves us. We are limitless Beings.
So, if you feel stagnate, restless, fearful or confused, try stopping for a few minutes and listen to and feel your heart beat. Listen to your breath. Feel the tingle from the energy in your hands and feet, chest, and stomach. What you feel is Life - strong, unwavering and unprecedented Life! We not only have the power to experience whatever beautiful thing we want in this Universe, but we have the love, the peace and the enthusiasm that carries our creativity.
We are limitless just like the waters falling from that cliff and we can choose to avoid our creativity or we can choose to feel and say "yes" to our creativity no matter what it is... Saying "yes" gives us joy, deep expression of our love that's already within, kindness, excitement and definitely peace! Plus, watch the extraordinary things that arise because of this one word!
I say yes!
Sending you so much positive energy, always!

You are incredibly important...
Creation is always happening. Everytime an individual has a thought, or a prolonged chronic way of thinking, they're in the creation process. Something is going to manifest out of those thoughts.-Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith
I had to share these words in this post because I can't help myself but to share my personal journey to peace with you. I feel a transformation at this time happening within and I'm not surprised at all. With all the challenges and crisis that I just witnessed in my life, I expected peace, humility, joy and love to surround my Being physically and spiritually. So, now that my level of humility has once again increased, I want to share the peace with you and I'm so honored to do so.
You are incredibly important and brilliant and you have purpose on this earth. Believe it. Know it. Feel it and then respond!
I send an incredible ray of love, peace and joy to all of you - with sincerity, compassion and dedication!
Take a look at more quotes from Dr. Beckwith below. They are magnificent! He is magnificent!

Inspirational Monday: A wave of inspiration

Gracepoint Church hosted a block party for a few subdivisions in our community this past Saturday to introduce themselves, offer fellowship and to get a chance to meet all the communities in the area where they worship. As you know, Jannah, my nieces and I love to get out and meet and greet beautiful souls with anticipation that we will and they will be delighted in joy! We like presence with a purpose to celebrate with smiles and share love. We did just that!
I love witnessing the level of expectation when visiting events like this because everyone expects a smile, a touch, a hug, laughter, good thoughts, great feelings and most importantly, peace. And the most incredible feeling about this expectation is that we are complete strangers wanting and desiring to express peace, love and appreciation. That's awesome!
We attract what we are.
From the fantastic inspirational band that really touched my Being to the warm souls that greeted each child with a sincere smile while creating animal balloons, making ice cones, serving food, guiding their fun on the water slide and inflatable ballon, Gracepoint Church created such a wave of inspiration. Some call it a slogan, but I call it their aim, Gracepointe Church, "where you belong," is a body of love, hope, faith and beautiful intentions. We all deserve to belong! How can I not visit?
Take a look at the photos below and feel the joy! Special shout out to Kay. Hi Kay! She pulled up chairs for my nieces to sit and enjoy the inspirational band with her without saying a word. She just did it. Her son was in the band. We began to share and I guess our energies were beating strong because Jannah grabbed the camera from me and took our picture! Kay is such a warm and sweet Being!
Who or what inspires you?
Happy Inspirational Monday!

You - The Woman - Part II

I'm thinking of you - the woman - all of you beautiful women on this day. Why? Because you are phenomenal! I dedicate this poem to you... Smile and enjoy!
Phenomenal Woman
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

You are not alone...

Sometimes we feel all alone in the middle of a vast storm - storm of sickness - storm of sadness - storm of divorce - storm of money issues - storm of loneliness - storm of pain and storm of suffering. The list can go on and on and the storms can vary in size and in length.
Let's keep this close to our hearts that we are never ever alone. The body of water that allows us to float and carry us when our feathers are heavy with oil is the peacefulness - the waves of calmness and the security of love. That powerful and vast body of water is God! We are floating with purpose and we are not alone. I know you can feel it...
I needed to hear and see these words myself and I'm thankful for the love and presence that I carry in my Being!
Sending quiet and steady flow of waves to settle your mind, your heart and your soul!
Happy Love Thursday!

Think About This Tuesday: My bucket list...
Since I'm the self-proclaimed queen of peace (and I wear that hat proudly), Inspirational Monday is my attempt to allow as many people as possible join in on the same frequencies of love, peace and the present moment. Inspiring you definitely inspires me.There are so many wonderful ideas that you bloggers create out there in blogsphere. Another one of my favorites is Conscious Friday. I participate not only because Se'Lah is a special person to me, but it sometimes challenges me to accept some things that I otherwise wouldn't accept by shining the spotlight on my perception with hopes to send a positive frequency with humility.
Of course we all know and treasure Love Thursday, the home of Chookooloonks.
Today, I thought I would dibble and dabble into other areas of interest to see what energy fields that can join together to ignite a powerful wave of beautiful emotions. So, I bring you "Think About This" from Christine at Distract Me. The "Think About This" Tuesday question is: What are some of the items on your "bucket list?" Here it goes:
As I sit and wonder so deeply, I'm amazed at how deep my bucket list is and have so much to share but I will pick out just a few:
1. Starting and finishing grad school

2. Finishing the construction of my office and basement
3. Being really present with my family at the Eiffel Tower in Paris
4. Attending Hippocrates Institute
5. Dancing on stage in front of thousands of people
6. Starting my second novel
7. My favorite: Veg out on an exclusive beach somewhere for exactly one month!
So, there you have it. I have tons more but these are the things that are broiling inside of me. It was refreshing to join in on "Think About This Tuesday" and I will be visiting other blogs to see what else I could join from time to time.
Sending positive energy your way always!

You - The Woman...
So don't ever wonder
-
Maxwell
Maxwell
This is a dedication to all the wonderful moms - to all of the cool sisters - to all of the supportive wives - to all of the loving daughters - to all of the magnificent teachers, attorneys, business owners. This message is to one of the most prestigious and extraordinary Beings - you - the woman!
We women love others unconditionally but sometimes forget that we have a relationship with ourselves. That relationship with ourselves sometimes causes us pain when we perceive that the people we love unconditionally "hurt" us. The relationship I'm referring to is the fact that we set expectations on what we "think" we should do and how we "think" people should respond to what we do. "When you have a relationship with yourself, you have split yourself into two: "I" and "myself," subject and object. That mind-created duality is the root cause of all unnecessary complexity, of all problems and conflict in your life. In the state of enlightenment, you are yourself - "you" and "yourself" merge into one," per Mr. Tolle.
This concept of a relationship with ourselves is dissolved when we accept what is and just BE. We do not have to strike out. We do not have to judge ourselves or others harshly or at all. We do not become the victims. We don't have to correct anything because we see nothing needs to be corrected, maybe addressed, but not corrected. In this day and time when women feel we must carry so much of the "burden," we have to ask ourselves, is it really a burden or is that how we see it? In fact, the "burden" may be "self-reflective consciousness." We want to awaken so our Beings choose this "burden." This thought of "burden" that we carefully position on our shoulders can really be understood as our road to enlightment.
Understand that you are magnificent with or without someone to love you. You are incredibly brave to step out on faith even if it appears that there is no support for you. You bring the strength. You bring the love. You bring the peace. You bring YOU - the beautiful, intelligent, phenomenal woman that you are. Just BE you! No expectations, no sorrow, no pain and definitely no drama!
I celebrate you - the woman. We are strong, we are beautiful and we are life!
Happy Love Thursday You Intriguing Woman!

Sled Hockey

We had a family outing to a hockey game last night, Thrashers vs. Washington "something." As you can tell, I'm not a hockey fan at all. My friend, a Girl Scout leader, gave us free tickets. When asked, my husband and son said why not?We were all freezing! We sat in the restricted seats bundled watching the hockey game. My daughter and I tossed and turned the entire game. I felt battered from my daughter shifting, climbing and elbowing me. I could not wait to leave!
Then, I noticed little people sliding around the rink on something that looked like a skateboard with ice blades. They were using shorter hockey sticks. It was halftime or timeout or whatever the terminology used for this break in the game. I perked up to watch and listen. They hit the puck in the net a few times. It was cool to watch. They were playing sled hockey, a game for the “disabled” who had no or limited use of their legs. I like to say they are able-with-adjustments. They looked like they were having a blast!
We may have to make adjustments. We may have to travel a different route to get to our ultimate and desired destination. We may have to tweak the norm a bit. But, we do not have to stop. We accept what is and in that knowing, we live! That's Peace!

You are worthy...

I know, I know. Food is expensive. Gas is expensive. The cost of ALL healthcare makes me just cringe. What is a family vacation? Is that when families go to a beautiful destination where trees are swaying from the light wind and the flow of the water calms even the most difficult perceptions in our minds? Can I afford to buy that $20.00 book today or shall I hold on to it JUST IN CASE?…
How do we gain all that we so wonderfully deserve? The answer is to be happy and joyful about what we already have. We can begin by accepting those things that are not so pleasant in our perceptions. Acceptance brings peace because what we resist will persist. Acceptance is our willingness to do or respond even though it is not what we want to do or how we want to respond.
The next step is to find ways to enjoy what we do every minute of the day. Enjoyment brings happiness and makes acceptance just that much easier.
Lastly, make sure that we have and show enthusiasm about our lives period. Be enthusiastic about other’s lives as well. “Sending positive energy your way, always,” is my way to show you that I am eager to live my life and I am just as eager to share your life with you. I send enthusiasm to you so that God’s Universe will return that same enthusiasm back to me.
Our spirits have the ability to attract whatever we desire rather it be a new job, a new car, organic food, an extraordinary vacation, a new home, a healthy and restored body and an idea that will not only lift us up financially, spiritually and mentally, but most importantly, it will lift others.
So, be happy and joyful what you already have and more will come from God’s Universe. It will come in abundance because the more you accept and believe that you are worthy of everything in this world, the more you receive!

Make a deposit...

I didn’t notice him until he paid for my French vanilla cappuccino. I just came from the gym relieved, rejuvenated and at peace with completing my kick-boxing class. I so deserved my treat. With my head bowed feeling the greatness that I just accomplished, I bumped him accidentally in the convenient store. “Excuse me,” I said warmly touching his arm, but not actually noticing who I bumped. “It’s OK darling.” Well, that got my attention. Who in the hell is calling me darling? I looked at him as he turned to walk away. He welcomed the attention. He had dark-green eyes and he stood at the counter in worn cowboy boots and dingy blue-jean overhauls being waited on by the cashier. “Take care of the lady, please.” The cashier looked over my head and he repeated his statement nodding his head my way. I smiled and thanked him and wished him a Merry Christmas.
I felt victory as I walked through the double doors that were held open for me. I made a deposit of genuine kindness and it was returned to me instantly. We have the power to have full abundance in our lives simply by giving, making a deposit!

Happy New Day!

As I watched fireworks exploding in the dark sky, I watched my daughter, nieces and nephews run around in my yard with excitement as my son lit one firework after the other promising that each one will top the previous one. I have to admit that I was excited because they were excited. Bringing in the New Year was another day for me, no different than the day before. I tried my hardest to express intense excitement about the New Year and to show all my family and friends who cramped my small home that this was a time to celebrate and darn it, that’s what I intended to do FOR THEM.
I saw the smiles and the grins, the hugs and the kisses, exchanged back and forth repeatedly and my heart smiled. I was happy to see it in my home. Were these same people this happy the day before? Were they bound by unhappiness caused by excessive thinking and were their happiness real today? Did it (happiness) come from a place of peace or a place of thought, “I’m supposed to be happy and celebrate because it is the New Year so I will just try to be happy?”
We should try to be one with the present moment everyday. When we practice such a magnificent tool everyday, we find true happiness and our decisions, response to trials and tribulations, and true forgiveness will come from a place of unprecedented peace. Therefore; the excitement, love and joy will come to us daily because we accept whatever the present moment is. So, I say to all of you that on New Year’s Eve, it was truly a Happy New Day for me, AGAIN! I’m so blessed and thankful for each of you and I continue to send positive energy your way and a waterfall of love, always. Happy New Day!
